Downward Dog and Creativity!

Step outside of the same old routine and take advantage of this crazy time of year, the joy and happiness you see around you and use it to be creative in your day.

Let’s shake it up! Let’s do everything upside down and back to front!

Swim in the moonlight, eat ice cream for dinner, dance in a water fountain, join a flashmob or enjoy your meals outdoors! Changing your daily routine in a fun and creative way allows your heart to sing, brings laughter and smiles and helps your day become joyful rather than mundane.

So let’s start with going upside down in downward dog.

Come onto your hands and knees with your hands under your shoulders and your knees hip width apart.

Inhale lift your hips and doggy tail up into the air, using your stomach muscles to squeeze and hold you strong in this pose.

Roll your shoulders down your back and lengthen your neck.

Breathe here for five breaths and smile.

Exhale come down into child’s pose to rest.

Use todays affirmation “Create” and enjoy shaking up your day and spreading your creative joy.

Rainbows!

Pammy
