I have been making art that reminds me of the landmarks here in the hills. My greatest inspiration is underfoot in the form of clay, stone, rock and fire, in the noticing, in the subtle, the grounding and the connecting.

These talismans have been created by rock samples taken down at the river and impressed into clay and copper. Pit-fired and held together with beads made by wild clay collected by the same river.
