6 week clay hand building course
Come and join Pammy in her greenhouse studio in the Perth hills, for this engaging and grounding 6 week introduction to hand building with clay.
In this course Pammy will take you through 2 hour sessions each week, guiding you through a practice in grounding and non attachment as we explore and have fun with hand building clay techniques.
In the first three weeks We will soak up the relaxing and satisfying ancient techniques of pinching, slab building and coiling.
Weeks 4 and 5 will be time for you to design and create your own project, drawing inspiration from the techniques previously learnt.
In the final week we gather together one last time with a glazing session where you will be given a final date to come pick up your work.
Included in your course will be half a bag of midfire clay with option to purchase more if you need. A small selection of glazes and firing.
Feel free to bring snacks, home grown herbal tea or chai will be available.
